Communications Division

The Communications Division in the Public Safety Department consists of four full-time and one part-time position.

Dispatch Supervisor/PD Records Manager
Roxanne Maldanado directs and supervises Communications and also fulfills the role of Records Management for the Public Safety Department. She receives and processes all criminal/accident reports and responds to open records requests.

All dispatchers are trained in police/fire communications, 9-1-1, radio operations and procedures and certified in TCIC/NCIC (Texas Crime Information Center/National Crime Information Center) computer systems. We are manned 24 hours a day to accept emergency and non-emergency contacts for the community.
