The Beverly Hills Department of Public Safety currently consists of eight (8) six full-time public safety officers and one (1) reserve officer:

  • Public Safety Officers enforce traffic laws, city ordinances and state laws; respond to fire and medical emergencies, investigate accidents and crime reports, patrol residential and business districts and follow up investigations on reports they receive.
  • This department provides 24 hours of fire and police protection and when at full staff they work ten-hour shifts with each officer working four days on, and three days off. Reserve Officers help in special events, emergencies and traffic control when needed.
