The Street Department works with local and state to develop and maintain a comprehensive plan for road maintenance and replacement.

The Street Department strives to protect the investment of the roadways through preventive maintenance and ongoing rehabilitation of streets.

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to provide the citizens of Beverly Hills and our visitors with streets and right of ways that are repaired and maintained to the best of the department’s ability and to continue to be aggressive with maintenance and monitoring of all duties assigned to the Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Animal Control
• City Park Maintenance
• Cleaning of City Streets
• Clearing & mowing of Right of Ways
• Creek Maintenance allowed by U. S. Corps of Engineers
• Sign Repair or Replacement
• Street Maintenance
• Tree Trimming

Roadway Obstructions:

To report roadway obstructions, repairs or dead animals, call Beverly Hills City Hall at 254-752-2584 Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The street department will clear obstructions, schedule repairs or pick-up the dead animal.

Other City Services

The City of Beverly Hills offers quarterly clean up to the citizens of Beverly Hills. You may place any items curbside that you need to dispose of with some exceptions. We do not pick up tires, appliances, paint, batteries and other hazardous materials.

Please do not place items curbside no more than five (5) days before a scheduled clean up. Tree limbs must be cut into four-foot lengths and bundled no bigger than one man may lift. Tree trunks must be cut into manageable lengths.
