Our mission is to provide a neutral, courteous, and fair forum for the trial of all Class C misdemeanor offenses arising under Texas civil and criminal statutes and city ordinances. The judge of this Court is appointed by the City Council of the City of Beverly Hills to preserve, protect, and defend the United States Constitution, the Texas Constitution and the laws of the State of Texas.
This Court and its officers are dedicated to the principals of impartiality, fairness, integrity, separation of powers, and judicial independence.
The Court Clerk’s office is responsible for processing the clerical work of the court, setting trial dockets, collecting court fines and fees, maintaining court records, and performing administrative duties delegated by the Judge.
The court is staffed by a Court Administrator and a Court Clerk. Clerks are not licensed attorneys and cannot provide legal advice.
The Municipal Court has jurisdiction over all Class C Misdemeanors issued by City police and animal control officers within the territorial limits of the City of Beverly Hills.
