Entering an appearance

After you have received a citation you have 10 working days to enter an appearance with the court in person or in writing. Telephone calls are for informational purposes only and do not constitute an appearance.

Failure to Appear

If you fail to appear to answer to the violation(s) on your citation within 10 working days you may be subject to any of the following punishments: an additional violation for Failure to Appear, a warrant issued, denial of the renewal of your driver’s license, a 30% collection fee and/or your case added to the State’s criminal database. All of the stated will add additional fees to the balance of your citation.

BE ADVISED The Beverly Hills Department of Public Safety actively serves all of our warrants. You may be arrested at your home, place of business, or wherever you may be found. A warrant will remain active until all fines and fees have been paid. You are subject to arrest by any agency confirming your warrant.
