You may be eligible for deferred disposition upon receiving a citaion if:
Requests for deferred disposition probation for certain offenses or requests for multiple violations to be deferred may require an appearance before the Judge.
A person must make a request in writing or appear in person before the Municipal Court within 10 calendar days from the issuance date of the ticket to request this option. For your convenience, a signature line is provided on the back of the copy of the citation issued to you for you to enter your plea. If mailing your request, please indicate, in writing, to the court if you are requesting the court to grant you the Deferred Disposition Probation Program.
If mailing the above items, please be sure to include your name and address so the Order Granting Deferred Probation can be returned to you with the compliance requirements and compliance due date.
